Heather honey is considered a real health honey because it is antibacterial, anti-bacterial and fights infections. The nectar of the heather gives the honey its characteristic reddish-brown color and a jelly-like consistency. Heather honey is extra tasty and aromatic - very popular with honey lovers!

All honey from Munkens Hälsa comes from organic KRAV-marked bee farms around Västmanland and is therefore completely Swedish. The heather honey is produced on previously fire-ravaged areas where the land has limited vegetation with heather as the clear dominant plant, which makes the honey varietal pure and of the highest quality.
