Lake Como is an awesome kite spot during the hot months in Italy. In the afternoon on sunny days south thermal wind is generated by the difference in temperatures of the mountains and the plain. Usually averages to 16/20 knots but the spot is so close to the city which makes it a perfect weekend or daily getaway. The wind is very constant and stable usually and on good days you can get up to 8 hours of wind. The place is amazing being in lake Como a world renowned heritage sight. You can go there eat at an amazing restaurant and kite in the afternoon until sunset!
